Sleeping Giant - The Sleeping Giant is a formation of mesas and sills on Sibley Peninsula which resembles a giant lying on its back when viewed from the West to North-Northwest section of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Kakabeka Falls - The Niagara of the North

Adirondack State Park - This is the website of the New York State Adirondack Park Agency. The park was created in 1892 and is about 6 million acres in size.

Algonquin Provincial Park - in central Ontario, Canada, it is the oldest provincial park.

Lake Superior Provincial Park - 1,600 square kilometre park on the east shore of Lake Superior.

Taughannock Falls - This website has more photos of one of the tallest waterfalls east of the Rockies. The Ithaca area has a number of exquisite parks, campgrounds, and gorges. The people in the area seem to be "extra friendly", perhaps because Ithaca is a "college town".
